I've been passionate about fitness since childhood, with basketball becoming my main focus. I played competitively at Santa Fe College and the University of the Cumberlands, where I helped lead the team to the 2015 Mid-South Conference Semi-Finals where I posted a career-high 26 points and 24 rebounds. In my senior year, I ranked second in the conference for rebounding, averaging 8.3 per game, and was also ranked 16th nationally in double-doubles. Although my professional career was cut short due to injuries, it provided me with valuable knowledge to pursue coaching.
After earning my Bachelor of Science in Human Services from the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Kentucky, I experienced the highs and lows of pursing a professional career before transitioning back to civilian life. Unfortunately, my mental and physical health suffered greatly during this period. However, my commitment to fitness never wavered, and it became a consistent aspect of my life as I explored different career paths. I discovered that I had a passion for helping people achieve their fitness goals, regardless of age, abilities, or perceived limitations. With certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and ongoing education at UC, I am committed to perfecting my craft and offering the best possible service to my clients.
My parents were my first teachers in life and instilled in me the importance of giving back. Throughout my journey, I've had incredible coaches who taught me about integrity, passion, and work ethic - qualities that are hard to come by these days. While studying Human Services, I realized that working within organizations can be restrictive and not allow me to help people in a way that feels natural to me. Despite this, I'm grateful for the experiences and the people who shaped me along the way.
Giving back has always been a significant factor in my decision to enter the fitness industry, and I am glad to now offer my services to those who have experienced financial, physical, or mental hardship. I will be hosting Mental + Muscle class which are a fitness session followed by a discussion about how to improve our resilience, mindfulness, and work stress management skills. I also will be providing 1-on-1 support for select individuals with training for a limited amount of time. If you or someone you know could benefit from my services, please fill out the form below.
